WOLF intentionally uses individual revocable living trusts for couples rather than a single joint trust. This design provides clearer ownership, cleaner administration, and faster settlement when one spouse passes away.
While joint trusts are common, they often introduce unnecessary complexity—especially around trustee authority, survivor decision-making, and asset division at the first death. Separate trusts reduce ambiguity and help ensure the estate is settled efficiently and according to intent.
For couples, WOLF prepares two coordinated individual trusts—one for each person—aligned for shared assets and consistent distribution, without the operational friction that joint trusts can create.
We follow up with an invoice and intake instructions. After payment is confirmed and intake is complete, we prepare your documents and provide execution guidance.
You will sign and notarize as required, then follow the funding guidance (e.g., retitling real property into the trust where appropriate and updating beneficiary designations).
